About RUSH

RUSH is one helluva band. They've been making excellent music for thirty years and in October 2004 completed a six month tour (including dates in Europe) to celebrate their 30th Birthday. Their 2002 Vapor Trails tour included RUSH's first dates in South America and Mexico, which were their biggest audiences ever. 25,000 fans rocked with RUSH in Mexico City. The three dates and attendance figures in Brazil were Porto Alegre (35,000), Sao Paulo (62,000), and Rio De Janeiro (46,000).

Although RUSH's popularity with the masses peaked in the early 1980's, with hits such as Tom Sawyer and New World Man, their stalwart fanbase has continued to buy their albums, attend their concerts, and support RUSH on and offline with websites, message boards, mailing lists, newsgroups, fan gatherings and both North American- and European- based international conventions.

If you love rock music and don't own any RUSH albums, run, don't walk, to your local record store!! Although I love RUSH's entire catalog of gold and platinum albums, I recommend 2112 if you like progressive edgy 70's rock, Moving Pictures if you want to hear the songs on the radio, Power Windows if you love mid-80's keyboard-heavy rock, Counterparts if you're into the grunge movement, and Vapor Trails or Feedback to find out where they are now. Each RUSH album is unique in style and sound, so be sure to check out their other albums!

RUSH released an amazing new album, Snakes & Arrows in May 2007. They are currently on tour in North America, and will be touring Europe this fall.
